Free Our Seas Youth Council

Our mission is to empower youth voices to educate the South Florida community and visitors to protect our environment. We meet monthly to design and implement environmental leadership projects. This year's teens have created campaigns to raise awareness and action surrounding the topics of fast fashion, shark and coral reef conservation.

Environmental Art

Art created from marine debris found on the shores of Hollywood Beach invite reflection of how the automated choices of our everyday life collectively effect our oceans.

Local Environmental Art Projects

Free Our Seas partnered with NSU and MEEC at the Carpenter House on Hollywood Beach to sponsor this gorgeous Rei Ramirez mural. The mural depicts a clean and healthy ocean and inhabitants which is the aim of all of our efforts. Rei’s mural will attract more people to the center to learn about ocean conservation and our interconnectedness.
